Me…Jane- Patrick McDonnell

27 Sep

A lovely illustrated book about how inspiration as a child can lead to a passionate career

In this story, a young girl named Jane loves everything about nature. She reads about and draws all of the plants, insects, and animals that she discovers with her stuffed chimpanzee Jubliee. She even reads a story about Tarzan in Africa and his friend Jane, who live with and save animals. Jane is very inspired, and her passion leads her to fulfill her own dream.

Beautifully, illustrated, the story of how Jane Goodall life in nature as a child inspires her to follow her dreams. Includes a brief biography of Jane Goodall and a message from Jane herself.

*Caldecott Honor Book, recommended for readers age 1 and up.
